One of the owners of Book City Orange is Margaret Schwebel, a local resident, mother of two and a qualified teacher. We welcome the opportunity to offer a range of services to playgroups, pre-schools and schools including:

• A discount on all book purchases - 10% on all titles, 15% for class sets of 20 or more. Free delivery to local schools.
• Advice for teachers and libraries on early childhood, infant, primary and secondary booklists.
• School and library visits can be arranged
• Book Fairs to improve and increase the stocks of your library

BOOK FAIRS

Give us a call to discuss organising a Book Fair at your school. Research has shown that children are more inclined to read a book they have been able to select themselves. We are flexible and cater for your students' needs. And we cater for the staff's needs too! How?

• We offer the possibility of staffing your Book Fair.
• When we staff the Book Fair, we set up, organise all monies, we sell and we clean up! And we know our titles so we can offer great service.
• The school receives 10% back as a Book Voucher to choose titles for the library (plus the school can receive donated books from the Fair).
• We provide a wide range of books for sale at any school event you may be organising such as Education Week, Grandparent Days, Open Days, etc.
• We select titles in consultation with the school rather than just provide a selection of titles that may not recognise the special needs of your school. Or you can come in to the shop and help select specific books for your book fair.

Book Fairs are a great opportunity to promote reading and literacy, plus it is also a great way to purchase additional titles for your library!

Benefit Months

If your school is local to our bookshop, you might like to organise a Benefit Month. During a Benefit Month, your school community can buy books and nominate your school to benefit from 10% of all their purchases.
